A PROBLEM WORTH SOLVING:
Two million tons of sewage is discharged into the world's water daily.
Agriculture accounts for 70% of water withdrawals and is also a major contributor to water pollution, yet there is no reliable system of remote testing and monitoring.
We believe that's worth doing something about.

LITMUS LAUNCHES IN CHICHESTER HARBOUR
14th January 2022 06:00
Litmus has launched its first Project in partnership with Chichester University and kindly facilitated by Chichester Harbour Conservancy.
'Project Lifebuoy' is a ground-breaking initiative to install the first-ever real-time monitoring stations into Chichester Harbour. Deployed on Friday 14th January, the buoys will be located over the next few weeks to measure a number of water pollutants and build up an AI model of water quality in the harbour.
Our buoys will provide real-time monitoring as well as building the first AI data model of how sewage releases, fertilisers, pesticides, housing development and commercial businesses all affect a harbour environment.
Traditional monitoring solutions provide data after the event - we believe there is a better way. Our mission is to provide harbour users with a dashboard that will report real time pollution levels.
Working with organisations such as Hayling Sewage Watch, Chichester University and local Sailing Clubs, our mission is to give people better information on water quality, where and when they need it.
